This program, presented by Steve Lane and Paul Inghram of the San Ramon Valley Branch Railroad Group, delves into the captivating history of the San Ramon Branch Line of the Southern Pacific that once traversed the picturesque San Ramon Valley. This engaging program will also showcase a meticulously crafted model railroad version of the Short Line.

The San Ramon Branch Line played a vital role in shaping the San Ramon Valley’s development, providing a lifeline for transportation and commerce in the early 20th century. This virtual program will take attendees on a journey back in time, recounting the stories and experiences of the communities, businesses, and individuals that were connected by this historic railway.
