One Festival, Two Countries Eugene O'Neill: "I'm all Irish"

An exhibit at the Danville Library featuring the new Friendship City partnership between the Town of Danville and the City of New Ross, Ireland.

In a letter to his son, O'Neill wrote: "One thing that explains more than anything about me is that I am Irish."

Displays will be placed in the lobby of the Danville Library at 400 Front Street in Danville.  There will be exhibits from the National Park Service, information about the 19th annual Eugene O'Neill Festival and features on the "One Festival, Two Countries" plans for September and October.

Visitors will also be able to view playbills of O'Neill plays, the only American playwrite to have received the Nobel Prize for Literature and four Pulitzer Prizes.

Partnering to mount the exhibit are the Museum of the San Ramon Valley, National Park Service, Town of Danville and Eugene O'Neill Foundation, Tao House.
